Your walk with God is personal, but it's not individual. DNA Groups (Discipleship - Nurturing - Accountability) provide an encouraging space to wrestle with who Jesus is and what it means to follow him. God made us to be in community, so we need others to help us apply the gospel to our lives. DNA Groups are also a key way that our church ensures you are known and cared for.
If you were in a Community Group during a previous season, the format of DNA Groups differs in a few ways:
- The groups are smaller, to encourage more sharing and connection.
- The format is different. As opposed to discussions based on the previous week's sermon, group meetings will vary -- some weeks will include a recorded teaching for the group to watch and discuss, and other weeks will include exercises to walk through. All of the content is designed to help us follow Jesus and renew our minds with the gospel.
Groups of 8-10 people will come together--either in person or via virtual video call-- for scripture reading, fellowship, and prayer.
