What determines our identity? What determines how we see ourselves and where we get our value?

Spend some time filling out the Adoption/Slave Diagnostic Worksheet (linked below), and answer the following questions:

• What stood out? In which areas are you still slaving? Where are you growing in your identity as God’s child?
• Think about your relationship with your father. What was it like? How has that relationship has affected your conception of God as father?
• Read the following truths about God’s adopted child: 
  • I am beloved (Jeremiah 31:3)
  • I am chosen (Ephesians 1:4-5)
  • I am being renewed (Romans 8:11)
  • I am a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17)
  • I am God's workmanship (Ephesians 2:10)
  • I will bear fruit that remains (John 15:16)
• Which one sticks out the most right now and why?
